Budget 2012 -BULLSHIT!
Minister of Flaming Pants Jim Flaherty stopped kissing corporate ass long enough to stand up and attack old folks and young people. Jumping Jim (asking how high corporate Canada would like him to jump) told us things were tough all over ignoring the fact that Canada’s big banks reported profits of $5.3 billion last quarter (that’s three months); Suncor made $1.43 billion in 2011 and the Alberta tarsands made $32 billion in 2010.
In spite of these obscene profits Flaherty and Canada’s oilpatch patsy Stephen Harper saw fit to cut back on Old Age Security and Katimavik.
Give me a break! Open your eyes Canada. How long are people expected to put up with this crap? Big banks and big oil run this country, politicians/toadies are only used as a front to make it look legit. No wonder people are pissed. No wonder the “occupy” movement is taking off. People are fed up and the traditional ways of being heard and changing things aren’t working. If there was truly democratic system that represented the individual as well as it did corporations maybe people would have faith in it -in the meantime we are forced to occupy.
